Dmitry Gorin

Short Biography

Dmitry Gorin is a Professor at the Center of Photonics & Quantum Materials at Skolkovo Institute of Science and Technology (RF). He received CSc in 2001 and DSc degree in Physical Chemistry in 2011 from Saratov State University (SSU, Russa). From 2005 till 2009, he has visited Max Planck Institute of Colloids and Interfaces (MPIKG, Germany). From 2009 till 2010, he worked at the MPIKG (Prof. Dr. H. Moehwald’s group). From 2011 till 2017, he held a professorship at SSU. He was promoter of 11 CSc, 1 PhD and 2 DSc theses. His lab’s interests are biophysics, biophotonics, physics of colloids and interfaces, functional nanomaterials
