Short Biography

Professor Mustafa Culha obtained his MS and PhD degrees in chemistry from Wake Forest University in 1997 and the University of Tennessee-Knoxville in 2002, respectively. Then, he joined to Oak Ridge National Laboratory as a post-doc. In 2004, he accepted a faculty position at Yeditepe University, Istanbul. In early 2019, he joined to The Knight Cancer Institute’s Cancer Early Detection Advanced Research center (CEDAR) of Oregon Health and Science University. He is also affiliated with Department of Internal Medicine, Morsani School of Medicine of The University of South Florida and Sabanci University Nanotechnology Research and Application Center (SUNUM). He is the author of more than 115 papers in prestigious international journals, several book chapters and patents in his field. He is currently on the editorial board of Applied Spectroscopy, Journal of Molecular Structure, and Computational and Structural Biotechnology Journal.
